My 'Under The Tuscan Sun' Lemon Themed Bridal Shower!
I had such a blast planning my bridal shower. My mom, future mother-in-law and bridesmaids did a phenomenal job of helping me turn my vision into life. Every detail was so perfect and well thought out, it was quite a team effort that could not have turned out any better. I am beyond excited to finally share all of the details with you and so grateful to the amazing brands that were so kind enough to partner up with us. All of the brands will be linked and their websites in case you'd like to check them out for your own events!
When it came to deciding a theme, I knew I wanted something classic yet modern and different. We brainstormed a few and I instantly fell in love with the "lemon" theme. I think we executed it well, but you can decide that for yourself! :)
Major thanks goes to Ryan Kell of Seek Axiom for capturing these beautiful moments.
My vision for the event was to have it be more of a cocktail hour, less of a sit down meal with the focus being on opening gifts. I wanted it to feel more like a party, having it on a Saturday late afternoon. We served beer, wine and a lemon Prosecco punch with thyme sprigsff - which was a guest favorite. We had a beautiful display of breads, cheeses and other hors d'oeuvres all provided by The Filling Station. For dessert, I wanted it to be easy to eat so we opted for smaller hand held items like lemon cookies and cannolis to stay on theme. The desserts were from various places around Buffalo, some from Dessert Deli.
Are you drooling yet? I was so busy enjoying the party, I didn't get to indulge on all of these but they were a huge hit! Of course it wouldn't be one of my parties without a photo wall situation. My bridesmaid, Kim did a phenomenal job creating a picture perfect backdrop for my guests and I to take advantage of.
Just wanted to take a quick moment to appreciate my handsome groom. He's been overwhelmed with this wedding planning process but he's been a good sport, enjoying the ride that is wedding planning.
For favors, we wanted to stick with the theme and give our guests Tuscan Herb olive oil. Each guest left with a bottle of Prima Oliva, a local favorite. We tied the bottles with ribbon and a custom tag from For Your Party to thank our guests!
So grateful to these lovely ladies for making this all happen!
