Holiday Eye + Lip Tutorial

After showing you my everyday makeup routine, I’ve gotten a few requests for an updated holiday eyeshadow/ lip look! The following video is building upon my everyday routine with a few added steps. As mentioned in the video, DO NOT feel obligated to purchase these items. Feel free to use what you have and apply the same techniques. The biggest takeaways I can offer you are to:

LAYER + BLEND, BLEND, BLEND

A FEW SIMILAR EYESHADOW PALETTES AT ALL PRICE POINTS:

After applying my foundation, concealer + bronzer (shown here) I begin with an eyeshadow base that also doubles as an eyeshadow primer.
What I use: Eye Base Essentials Brightening Eyeshadow Primer (sand)

Apply cream eyeshadow with finger on top:
What I use: Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow (jean)

Start to blend + layer different shadows in the crease + bottom lash line
What I use: Velvet Eyeshadow Palette – Classic

Apply gel liner underneath lash line by gently dotting in between lashes
What I use: Intense Gel Eyeliner Pencil (black or arabian nights)

Curl lashes and apply mascara by wiggling side to side and out
What I use: Eyelash Curler, Monsieur Big Mascara, High Volume Mascara

Finishing touches, blush + highlight shown here!

Add a lip
What I use: For lip liner I use Lip Cheat Lip Liner (pillow talk) and for a brighter color I love Matte Revolution Lipstick (the queen) and Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (dragon girl)

Brushes I use + recommend: Sigma Brush Travel Kit - Make Me Classy

PRO TIP: If you get mascara in an unwanted area, wait for it to dry and gently scrape it off. It come off super easily!
