MDW Outfit Ideas + Sales
Happy Memorial Day Weekend, my friends! For this week’s #TryOnConfidential I will be featuring my favorite MDW / summer weekend looks. White denim season is officially here- even thought I’ve been wearing it since March. I don’t think it’s really a rule anymore - I personally think it has everything to do the type of fabric you’re wearing and making sure it’s weather appropriate (ex. white linen while it’s snowing is probably not the best idea). We are headed away for the weekend and I thought it would be fun to show some of the looks I’ll be wearing and give you some inspiration for your very own holiday and weekends to come!

Outfit Idea #1: White Denim Shorts + Chambray Shirt
white denim + blue denim is one of my favorite combinations. I like balancing the proportions of the tighter shorts with the bagginess of the top. Wearing size 14 in the bottoms, XL in the top.

Outfit Idea #2: Two Piece Set
Switch things up a bit and try a matching set. Confession: this is my first one but I’m definitely open to trying more. Linked a few that I’m crushing on below. Wearing a 14 in the top and XXL in the bottom.

Outfit Idea #4: Little White Dress with a Pop of Color
At this time last year, I was preparing for my wedding so I had my eyes on EVERYTHING white. I still love wearing white in the summer, it just gives me an instant mood boost! Wearing a size large in the first dress shown. Give your all white outfit a pop of color with some bright colored accessories (shown below). If you’re full busted and have issues keeping dresses closed, you can use this fashion tape for keeping your tops closed! This also works for a quick hem job.
Outfit Idea #5: Paper bag shorts + blouse
These are my favorite shorts and you have seemed to love them too! Re-sharing because they are just so flattering and size inclusive! They come in XS-3X and a bunch of different colors, I wear a large. You can keep things fairly simple up top- I like to balance the proportions with a tighter top and a looser bottom.
