Life Hack: Walmart's Online Grocery Pickup
Earlier this week on my IG stories I shared that when my travels pick up, household chores like cooking and grocery shopping get difficult for me. I have been looking into online grocery pickups for awhile now and I put up a questionnaire asking you gals if/what you’ve used. There was an overwhelming response on Walmart’s Online Grocery Pickup service so when Walmart approached me to try it for myself, I couldn’t resist. I was excited to see what all of the excitement was about and impressed by how easy the process was. I usually shop at Walmart for all of my household goods (re: paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning products, condiments, vitamins, etc) as I feel like it’s a better value than other stores around me. I LOVE one stop shopping so I was very excited to see how this went.
HOW IT WORKS:
Visit Walmart online and enter your zip code. You can then browse the Walmart Grocery assortment online, which carry the same prices as local Walmart stores. During checkout, customers choose a designated store to visit and select a timeslot to pick up their order. There is a $30 minimum purchase for all Walmart Grocery orders and pickup is always free. You can also download the Walmart Grocery App and do this all from your phone! Once my order was ready, I received a call and drove to my desired location and parked in the designated parking area for pickup. Once I arrived, an employee approached my car, verified my order and loaded it into my trunk. Just like that, I was on my way home with a car full of groceries!
WHAT I GOT:
My usual weekly haul includes fruits, veggies and chicken breast with the occasional household items. I love how everything it categorized by category - great for back to school shopping too! I couldn’t help but to find the pet section and snagged Walter some new toys and water bowl. I also picked a few restock of my beauty favorites- this deodorant mini, makeup removing wipes and my favorite hack for showing bald spots this magical root spray. And remember when my dishwasher was acting like a fool? This stuff has been a HUGE help!
