One Pair of Jeans, Two Ways
I’ve always loved Old Navy as an affordable, size inclusive retailer. I recently had the chance to try out Old Navy’s new and improved Universal Fit Denim. I was skeptical but genuinely excited to try out their new offerings. They took everything people love about their legendary Rockstar jean – sexy curved waistband, perfectly placed pockets, curve hugging fabric – and applied it to all of their jeans. That means, in every single pair of denim in the whole store, you get better fit, better fabric, and better booty. Sign me up for that!
They relaunched four different styles:
Pop Icon Skinny
Rockstar Super Skinny
Slim-Straight
Kicker Boot Cut
I decided to try their High-Waisted Distressed Power Slim Straight Jeans and style them two ways- one great for the warmer fall weather now and another way for when the temperature starts to drop. These jeans cut clean and straight down the leg with just enough stretch to flatter every body (and booty). They have a Clever Secret-Slim front pockets hold you in for a slimming effect, which is an instant confidence boost. I am wearing my typical size 14 here but may consider swapping them out for a size 12, as they fit well but ran a little big in the waist.
I had a lot of fun styling these jeans, they’re such a good wash- they work well with literally anything. I loved the look of this Textured Houndstooth Coat (runs large, size down) paired with this polka dot Slub-Knit 3/4-Sleeve Twist-Back Top (I took a large).
So, are you convinced yet? I strongly encourage you to get your butt to an Old Navy store and try out their new and improved denim. I’m a believer and sincerely appreciate when brands listen to their customers’ feedback. Thanks to Old Navy for partnering with me on this post. All thought and opinions are my own.
