8 Items Forever In My Beauty Routine
Is it me or am I the only one who loves taking a peek into other’s beauty cabinets? Virtually or when invited, of course! One of the biggest perks of my job is that I have the privilege to test and try out beauty products to no end. Today, I thought it’d be fun to share the eight items you’ll always find in my closets, no matter what.
I’ve partnered with Walmart Beauty to showcase a few of my favorite (and affordable) items. Walmart has forever been my go-to for toiletries and body essentials. Their offerings are better than ever, including an emphasis on more mindful beauty brands.

Living Proof Dry Shampoo - you’ve heard me talk over and over again about this stuff. It’s pure magic and unlike any other product on the market due to its patented technology. I’m a forever believer and it helps extend the lifetime of my hair in between washes.
Wet Brush - I have a very tender / sensitive scalp so this brush is an absolute game changer for me… I wish this was around when I was younger, would’ve made bathtime less tearful!
Body Lotion - BK and I go through an astronomical amount of body lotion. One of our top favorites is Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost collection for face and body. We love the whipped body balm!
Foot Cream - definitely not the most glamorous beauty product but I cannot live without it because my feet get so dry and cracked year-round! I keep this one next to my bedside and apply it almost every night.
Makeup Wipes - I’ve been using these wipes since middle school and I haven’t found any that compare. They get EVERYTHING yet gentle on my skin, good for that extra pesky makeup.
Beauty Sponge - I recently joined the makeup / beauty sponge train and I LOVE how nicely it applies makeup when it’s damp. Lately I’ve been loving this one. I’m not the best at cleaning them so I opt for a lower cost option so that I can rotate them more frequently and wash in a big batch.
Mascara - file under makeup I cannot live without! I like to rotate what I’m using but recently found myself using this Covergirl Lash Blast again (started using in my teen’s) and I forgot how GOOD it is!
Lip Balm - I carry a lip balm in every single purse/bag that I own and keep one at my desk! I ALWAYS need to have my lips hydrated. I love this Burt’s Bees balm with a subtle tint to it. The minty-fresh feeling is my favorite!
