My Equilibria CBD Update + How I’ve Been Using It

I took a deep scroll back on my Instagram to see how long I’ve been talking about Equilibria CBD. The first time I ever posted about them was February 2019, after taking it consistently for about three months. I was SO nervous to share it because it was a newer thing for me to talk about on my platform (stress, anxiety and CBD— which at the time felt like no one was talking about it). I ultimately decided to share because it had helped me and if it *maybe* helped one other person, it’d be worth it.

I was completely shocked by your response. I was so humbled and encouraged by your support and curiosity that I decided to dive into a blog post to answer your frequently asked questions and provide even more insight on my experience. In case you missed it, you can check that out here!

One of the things I admire and respect most about Equilibria is their commitment to educating and supporting women. Their website does an incredible job of laying everything out and their customer service is incredible. I encourage you to reach out to them with any questions but of course, always happy to share my experience. Equilibria understands that female bodies are different, from cyclical changes to the very real challenges of menopause and childbirth and everything in-between. So at EQ, they believe quality matters, service matters and that women deserve a CBD brand that can deliver all of the above! (FYI: My husband uses it too so it’s not just for women)

how I currently use Equilibria:

This year has been stressful in so many ways, I’ve been working harder than ever to take care of myself from the inside out. The one thing people don’t realize about CBD is that it works in everyone’s bodies differently. Some people can feel it right away, others it can take months to see a difference. I spoke to a dosage counselor to determine and encourage experimenting to find the appropriate dose for me. This is how and what I currently use:

MORNING:

1.0 ML dropper of Daily Drops underneath my tongue after breakfast (hold for a minute for best absorption)

0.50-1.0 ML of daily drops throughout the day as needed for when I feel a wave of panic, stress or anxiety, or anticipate a potential situation that may induce those feelings. This is called microdosing, the concept of taking a small amount during periods of extra stress–like before a big zoom presentation, when you feel a headache coming on, or when you can feel anxiety building.

EVENING:

I got into a really nice habit this year of taking my vitamins / supplements every night. My dosage counselor recommended I take the soft gels closer to after dinner for best absorption but sometimes it’s later than other days. I take one extra strength Soft Gel (25mg) each evening and I rarely wake up throughout the night. When I do, I keep a bottle of daily drops next to my bed and I’ll do an added dose of 0.50-1.0 ML if I’m feeling anxious or stressed.

AS NEEDED:

I suffer from migraines and pretty severe period cramps so I’ll apply the Relief Balm to my lower belly, temples, neck and shoulder. I also really love the Dynamic Roller Duo to roll on my temples or on bug bites in the summer to calm the itch. We don’t really have a functioning bathtub but I’ve heard that the bath bombs and mineral soak are WONDERFUL for soreness and stress.

MORE RECENTLY:

I’ve been testing out their Daily Treatment Oil for the past month as a part of my evening skincare routine. It is packed with seven nutrient-rich botanicals to nourish and renew deep into the layers of your skin. Featuring 500mg of full-spectrum CBD to moisturize and heal along with powerful oils like Sweet Almond, Litsea, and Olive Squalane, it was created as a multipurpose oil to support a range of common skin concerns – from dry skin to sun damage to pore size. I have combination dry/oily skin so it works best for me at night and I really LOVE the scent of it.

pro tip:

After using Equilibria CBD products for almost a year now, I can say that it works best with consistency, which is why I have my items on an automatic monthly subscription. It's less costly, convenient and very easy to cancel. If you think you may want to try or are interested in learning more, check out their website and use "caralynmirand" at checkout for a discount.

They also have some beautiful gifting bundles which would make a fabulous gift to put on your wishlist or to give to someone else.

Feel free to leave any questions or your experience with Equilibria below, I’d love to hear! Thanks for allowing this to be a safe space for me to share a wide range of topics. xx CMK
