Last year was the first time I covered the Nordstrom Sale. To be honest - I never paid a ton of attention to it because Buffalo JUST got a Nordstrom Rack a few years ago and hadn’t shopped there a ton until more recent years. I also only applied for a Nordstrom credit card earlier this year so my coverage last year was just public access. This year they are previewing everything (you can see it all here) so you can create wishlists of what you want. If you’re not familiar with the sale dates, here’s the breakdown:

Canada will also be hosting a Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Early Access is August 16 -18 (Nordy Club Ambassadors & Nordstrom Visa Cardholders) and Public Access is August 19 – September 3
While I never preach excess purchases, this year feels especially important to reiterate that. Life is clearly looking a lot different this year and it’s more important than ever to be mindful about your purchases. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and assume everything is a good deal, when it might not be. Here are a few items that I truly love and use, as well as a few things on my wish list.
Generally speaking, this is a great time to stock up on undergarments (bras, undies + shapewear) especially if you have been properly fitted. If you haven’t had a chance to get to a store to get fitted, I’d recommend holding off on underwire options unless you’re willing to buy, try + return what doesn’t work.
