Had a chance to spend some quality time with our friends in Cayuga Lake, grateful for the change of scenery for a night!

My mom (aka my VP of Organization) and I did some damage on my closet reorganization. Our unfinished basement is pretty much where all of my clothes live and we are FINALLY creating a system— inspired by The Home Edit so I can actually see/ use what I have. I was kindly gifted this little book and have loved flipping through it this week. One of my favorite quotes I saw this week was “carry your self-esteem the way a dog carries a stick it’s especially proud of.” Word.

Well hello, my friends! This week flew on by for me, I don’t know about you. Our night away in Cayuga Lake last weekend was exactly what my soul needed for a little boost. Change of scenery certainly does the heart good… It was also nice to see BK put a shirt / real clothes on. We are “summer people” to our core but we love a good festive fall outfit moment. I think we’re going to finally close our pool and buy pumpkins for our porch this weekend.
Speaking of BK, have you noticed the increase of graphics/collages on my blog? Specifically the latest one on my fall shoe picks. Brian’s been helping me more and more behind the scenes with the blog. He has become a huge asset to my business and daily workflow. It has certainly been a challenge learning to work together but we’re getting the hang of it.
