Swimsuit Cover Ups
We’ve talked a great amount about swimsuits lately… from my general guide to finding the best swimsuits this year to my specific Amazon swimsuit haul, J.Crew and ModCloth try on and my Summersault try on and review, we’ve talked about A LOT! One thing we haven’t “covered” are cover-ups! So today’s post is dedicated to a few of my favorite styles that I’ve tried on recently and a few of my favorite destinations to shop cover-ups / casual dresses!

Definitely more of a splurge but I absolutely love the detail. White is always so classic and crisp for a special trip or honeymoon! I’ll link a few more of my Lilly favorites below.
BEACH TUNIC (S-XXL, I WEAR XL)
Love this one! It is super lightweight which is great for super hot days and it has a tie in the back so you can wear it as a v-neck or off the shoulder. Beware of lighter colors and wet spots/stains, something I didn’t think about when purchasing!
3/4 SLEEVE SHIRT DRESS TUNIC (S-3X, I WEAR XL)
I originally purchased this in blue but it was really wrinkly and knew it would show stains/wet spots easily so I exchanged it for the black. It’s lightweight and really nice on the body, I would just be careful drying it (do delicate or hang dry).
SHEER SARONG (S-3X, WEARING XL) | SWIMSUIT (XL)
Sarongs are BACK, baby and I’m here for it! I found this one and I was excited about it because it is NOT “one size fits all” like many of them are, it comes in A TON of colors and it’s under $15. It’s definitely sheer so it just provides a little bit of coverage but though the sizing ran generously.
SWIM SARONG (S-2X, I WEAR XL-2X) | SWIMSUIT (XL)
I bought this to find a more opaque sarong option and I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is actually swimsuit material! So you could get in the water with this one, which was a good find I thought for people who are looking for a little more coverage with their one piece or high waisted swimsuits. It comes in a bunch of colors and under $25!
TASSEL TUNIC (XS-4X, WEARING L-XXL) | SIMILAR TUNIC WITH SIMILAR SIZING OPTIONS
I just adore this one! It looks and feels A LOT more expensive than it is. I love the sizing range and how many color options there are. I do find the sizing really generous so if you’re in between sizes, you could size down. I may have to snag another in a print or with pom poms. In case the first one is sold out in your size, be sure to check this one out too! It looks really similar and I had a reader recommend it!
BOHO MIDI DRESS (XS-XXL, WEARING XL)
So technically this is not a cover up but I think anything could be, if you wanted it to. This is a SUPER lightweight fabric so it could easily go back and forth between a cover up or casual dress. I am wearing an XL in this one but wish I sized down because it ran really generously. Recently bought this one in an XL and thought it ran more true to size.
PALAZZO PANTS (XS-2X, WEARING XL) | SWIMSUIT (14)
I LOVEEEE these freakin’ pants, JUST LOVE ‘EM. Unfortunately, they are a little to big on me so I definitely could have sized down to a large but have rocked them anyway, as seen here.
