Silky Polka Dot Midi Skirt
A few weeks ago I shared this silky slip midi skirt on my stories from Amazon Fashion and I couldn’t stop thinking about different ways to style it. Since it’s still summer, I wanted to share a few ways to wear it now and later. The skirt comes in a whopping 17 colors, sized XXS-3X. I am wearing my usual XL in this brand and find it true to size. It has an elastic waist which makes for an easy fit and the fabric has the slightest hint of stretch in the fabric, which makes this one a winner. It is definitely a thinner, unlined fabric so I prefer the darker colors. The directions say to hand wash but I’ve thrown this in on delicate and hung to dry, it turned out fine!
Kept it simple with a basic white tee (XL), more options here and dipping my toe into fall with this faux leather moto jacket (also available up to 3X in two colors). I think a moto jacket instantly adds a ‘cool factor.’ It’s one of the few pieces that has survived my wardrobe year after year. It also comes in this GORGEOUS cognac color that of course, I had to snag as well. Paired with my favorite little white sneakers, featured on this previous post. Jewelry wise, I kept it simple with my small gold hoops (30mm) and beaded bracelets. To dress up this look for a more evening / dressy look, you can switch up the shoe. I would recommend a heel like this one, this one or this one!
Not ready for a moto jacket? You can easily swap out a cropped denim jacket like this one or this one for an equally chic look. Isn’t it crazy how a simple swap of the jacket completely changed it? Versatility is a beautiful thing! You could also add a heel on this one to jazz it up. For the cooler months, I think this would be great with an oversized turtleneck like this one or a more fitted option tucked in like this!
Do you like it better with the moto or the denim jacket? Would love to hear! Should I show more ways to style this when the weather gets cooler? Thank you so much for reading! xx CMK
