Travel Outfit Inspiration
On the road again and wanted to share a few of my go-to formulas when it comes to traveling outfits. For me, it’s essential to be comfortable but also feel polished and put together, so here are four looks that work for any time of the year!
The key to any good travel outfit is layering. If you’re worried about being too cold or too warm, be mindful of the weight/fabric of your layers. I previously wrote a blog post on how to style layers here, if interested! Let get into the looks.
LAYER UP with
leggings, tee + denim jacket
JEAN JACKET (XL) | TANK (XL- USE CARALYN10) | LEGGINGS (L) | SIMILAR LEGGINGS (I WEAR XL) | SNEAKERS | NO SHOW SOCKS | SUNGLASSES | EARRINGS | SIMILAR LUGGAGE
shop the look
coordinated casual
loungewear set + sneakers
go monochromatic
in all one color
MOTO JACKET (XL) | SIMILAR MOTO JACKET (XL) | TEE (XL) | JOGGERS (XL) | SNEAKERS (SIZE 11) | NO SHOW SOCKS | EARRINGS | LUGGAGE (MINE IS MEDIUM SIZED) | PHONE CASE
elevated casual
sweater blazer + jeans
BLAZER (L) | SIMILAR T-SHIRT (XL), MORE T-SHIRTS HERE | SIMILAR JEANS (MINE ARE SOLD OUT J BRAND) | SHOES (I WEAR SIZE 11) | DUFFLE BAG | SIMILAR TRAVEL BAG
BONUS OUTFIT IDEA: Another look that I like to do, especially in the warmer months is a dress, sneakers and denim or moto jacket. I specifically designed this knit moto jacket for travel. A few dresses I would travel in are this, this, and this. For support and anti-chafing I’ll wear these shorts as underwear. More under-dress undergarments are previously discussed here!
Which look is your favorite? Would love to hear! If you’re planning your next getaway, be sure to check out more travel-related posts here. Thanks for reading! xx CMK
