With our summer looking a little different this year, we have made some changes to our backyard! We love to entertain and host guests, so I thought it’d be fun to share a few of our recent finds. I previously shared some outdoor patio picks with inspiration. Today, I’m resharing what we have in our backyard, that’s currently our top hang-out spot!
These solar lights are great for putting on your walkway or in the mulch and do a good job lighting up the pathway. You know I’ve leaned in and embraced my #PlantLady life, I found these planters (in a few different sizes and shapes), and we’ve loved them. I did place heavy rocks at the bottom, and so far, they’ve held up beautifully.
With entertaining more comes more snacking! This appetizer tray has been great for finger foods that must be kept cool. We were in need of new outdoor cups, and these ones are durable, lightweight, and dishwasher-safe! I got this utensil carrier and napkin holder a few summers ago because we’ve chased after one too many blown-away items. They save space on the table too! As I’ve said, we love to entertain so we’ve recently stocked up on a few items to make parties more seamless. Having an outdoor garbage can has been great and super convenient, avoiding wet foot traffic into the house.
I heard of the idea to get a shower caddy for your pool essentials (sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, etc) and it’s been fantastic! I love that it keeps everything in one place and it’s especially great for when guests come over and want to use some. We panic-purchased this set of pool chairs and we’ve been really impressed. They were easy to put together and are comfortable without cushions. I also invested in this set of striped towels, they’ve been good. I needed to wash a few times to get the lint off but after that, they’ve held up nicely. Upon lounging, I decided we needed a few side tables that were outdoor friendly so I came across these that fit perfectly in between the lounge chairs. Some days call for a little extra shade, so we took a chance on this oversized umbrella, base sold separately and we’re really happy with it.
