What I Bought On Amazon For Our Disney Trip

Toddler & Mom Must-Haves

Prepping for a Disney trip with a toddler is no small feat, and having the right essentials can make all the difference! As we get ready for our upcoming trip, I turned to Amazon (and this amazing community!) for must-have travel items for both myself and my son. So many of these recommendations came from you, and I can’t wait to see how they work out. I’ll be sharing updates throughout our trip next week, so be sure to follow along on my stories to see everything in action. And if there’s anything I might have missed, I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Travel essentials for me

Chafing is not the vibe when walking miles in the parks. This is a lifesaver for keeping things comfortable all day long. If you haven’t already tried this stuff, what are you waiting for? It’s seriously life-changing. I’ll be walking a lot, so I grabbed some of these no-show, nonslip socks to keep my feet happy throughout the trip. With all the surfaces we’ll be touching, I’m bringing this hand sanitizer for quick, on-the-go cleaning. A belt bag is a must for keeping essentials like my phone, cards, and chapstick easily accessible while walking around the parks. In addition to my belt bag, I’m bringing a small crossbody for when I want to switch things up or carry a little more. Florida humidity + Disney rides = major flyaways! This keeps my hair sleek and in place without feeling greasy and fits nicely in my bag. Because if my son gets a fan, I deserve one too! This mini fan is small enough to fit in my bag but powerful enough to keep me cool and I’ve heard it’s a good distraction for waiting in line.

I love using clear pouches for organizing everything—skincare, chargers, toiletries, and even snacks. These make it easy to find what I need without digging through my bag. Florida sun = sunscreen all day long! Elta MD is my go-to for daily SPF that feels lightweight and works well under makeup. Hotel lighting isn’t always the best, so I’m bringing this compact, lighted travel mirror to make getting ready easier anywhere. I love these for a fresh, clean face at the end of a long day, and don’t have to worry about staining hotel towels. They’re extra soft and this mini box is great for travel! To keep all my vitamins, meds, and pain relievers organized while traveling, this compact pill organizer is perfect.

Disney days are long, and having snacks on hand is a must! I grabbed this spill-proof snack cup to keep things mess-free. Staying hydrated is key, so I got this leak-proof water cup to make it easy for my son to drink throughout the day without spills. I love this stroller organizer to keep everything easily accessible and attaches/detaches so easily. It also has space for two cups and discrete zippered pouches.  Keeping cool is a top priority, and this portable fan is a game-changer. It clips onto the stroller to keep my son comfortable in the heat, but I love that it can also be handheld or attached to other surfaces when needed. Comfortable, breathable shorts are a must for the Florida heat. I grabbed a few pairs of these to keep my son cool and comfy.

Sleep is everything when traveling with a toddler. We’re bringing this sound machine and our SlumberPod to create a familiar sleep environment. This will help keep distractions to a minimum so they can get quality rest and you can move freely throughout your hotel room. We borrowed our friend’s so that my in-laws can use one too!

A small but essential item––this compact first aid kit is packed with everything we might need for minor cuts, scrapes, or blisters while out and about. These disposable pee pads are great for extra protection for diaper changes on the go without having to worry about wiping everything down beforehand. Less laundry, more convenience! These disposable bibs are perfect for quick meals on the go, whether we’re at the park or grabbing a bite in the hotel, this is my second time purchasing, and can’t recommend these enough.

For peace of mind, I got these AirTag pins to attach an AirTag to my son’s clothes securely. It’s an extra layer of security in case we ever get separated in a crowd. For flights, long waits, and downtime in the hotel, this tablet is coming with us! It’ll help keep my son entertained when we need a little quiet time, queued up with the Lion King & Moana.

Thanks for reading!

I’m so excited for this trip and feel so much more prepared thanks to all of your amazing recommendations! I’ll be putting these items to the test next week and sharing my thoughts along the way, so be sure to follow along on my stories to see what works (and what doesn’t). I also know how challenging it can be to feel both functional and put-together as a mom while traveling, so I’ll be rounding up all of my outfits once we’re back. Stay tuned for a full trip recap on the blog, where I’ll break down what I wore, what worked, and any lessons learned along the way.

If you have any last-minute must-haves or Disney tips, I’d love to hear them—drop them in the comments or send me a message! Here’s to a magical (and hopefully smooth) trip! Thanks for reading.
