DIY Pumpkin Arrangement

Pumpkin Arrangement

This is one of my favorite things to make this time of year! It is festive, fun, and couldn’t be easier. It also makes a fantastic host/hostess gift if you attend any upcoming get-togethers.

I originally saw my friend Karina over at @kcyouthere do this several years ago and have since recreated it every year. All you need are a few stems of eucalyptus and pumpkin branches, I found both at Trader Joe’s, but if you don’t have a store nearby, I’ve linked a few other faux options that will last you even longer.

What You’ll Need:

Eucalyptus
real or faux alternative option | alternative | alternative

Pumpkin Branches
I bought mine at Trader Joe’s but they’re also available here | alternative pumpkin stems | more stems here | alternative orange flowers | alternative pumpkin stems | orange roses

Stem Scissors
I like these kitchen shears

Vase
what I used | alternative

Instructions:

step 1: Trim

Lay your stems out on a flat surface and trim the bottoms. I like to make sure there are no leaves too low on the branch so it doesn’t make the water murky.

step 2: Arrange PUMPKIN STEMS

One stem at a time, add to your vase, varying heights, and placement.

step 3: Arrange EYUCALPTUS

In the empty spaces, add in your eucalyptus stems and fill in the gaps!

step 4: Final touches

Add a little bit of water to your vase, making sure it’s not touching any of the leaves and change every few days.

It’s as simple as that. Feel free to improvise or add in whatever speaks to you! I always like to arrange from the heart. I think it looks really cute with some mini pumpkins stacked nearby as well.
