Mocktail Recipe: Espresso Martini

Espresso Martini

Back at it to share one of my favorite cocktails in mocktail form! To know Brian (BK) is to know that he loves making (and drinking) an espresso martini! Not to toot our own horns, but we perfected our recipe over the past years, especially if you don’t like any milk/cream. I was ecstatic to learn that there is a fantastic option for a non-alcoholic version that tastes pretty darn close to the real thing.

Either recipe you make, the key is to shake it longer than you think you should! This ensures that beautiful foaminess on top. And, of course, every espresso martini should be garnished with not one, not two, but THREE beans! While there are many variations on the espresso martini cocktail, there's one standard garnish: three espresso beans floating on top. Tradition holds that these three beans represent health, wealth, and happiness!

What you’ll need

Instructions

Step 1: Add to shaker
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice

Step 2: Shake it
Shake all ingredients with extreme vigor. The harder you shake it, the better and foamier it will be!

Step 3: Pour and garnish
Pour into a coupe glass and garnish with three beans! Enjoy!

And that’s it!

I love these vintage-inspired coup glasses; they’re great for martinis and champagne, even non-alcoholic ones! I also really love this gold cocktail shaker set. It would make a fabulous hostess gift with a bottle of Lyres non-alcoholic spirits! For more hosting and entertaining essentials, check out this post.

Let me know if you tried this recipe and if you enjoyed it! I have a few more mocktail recipes that I’m excited to share with you in the coming weeks. Do you have a favorite mocktail? Leave it below. I recently discovered Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirits and have been having a lot of fun experimenting with those!
