Spiked Spiced Apple Cider Recipe
Spiked Spiced Apple Cider
Bring on all of the festive holiday cocktail recipes! In the spirit of Thanksgiving next week, I wanted to start with an easy one that you could easily serve if you’re hosting or would like to bring something! This one is fairly simple, you could easily double/triple/quadruple it for a larger crowd as well.
The nice thing about this drink is that it works well cold or warmed up, so you can choose your vibe there! If you prefer it to be warmed up, you can put it in a crockpot or insulated carafe and have people ladle their own and the garnishes on the side. Another favorite thanksgiving cocktail I love to make are these pumpkin pie martinis, be sure to check those out too!
What you need
1 1/2 parts spiced rum, we love Blue Chair Bay® Spiced Rum
1 part simple syrup (optional, I don’t think you need it)
3/4 parts fresh lemon juice
1 part apple cider
Cinnamon sticks (for garnish)
Sliced apple (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Combine
In a shaker, combine all ingredients. Shake vigorously.
If you’re enjoying this warm, add all ingredients to a pot on the stove and warm up.
You could also microwave!
Step 2: Pour & Enjoy
Pour into a glass and garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.
And that’s it!
For each cocktail recipe, I’ve been featuring a new outfit and cocktail-themed earrings! Today I’m rocking these gorgeous champagne glass-inspired ones with this lace top (XL) and jeans (32R). You can shop the look below!
Please let me know if you make this recipe, and be sure to explore more recipes on the lifestyle and holiday tabs on the blog.
