Watermelon & Chili Margarita Mocktail
Watermelon & Chili
Margarita Mocktail
Diving back into my mocktail series, you all seemed to love the recipes, so I’m keeping them coming! The great part about these is that they include everyone, excluding no one, because you can easily swap the non-alcoholic spirit for regular tequila if you prefer! In case you missed it, I previously shared an Espresso Martini Mocktail, Spicy Grapefruit Ginger Fizz Mocktail, White Cane Lemon Collins, and a Sparkling Blood Orange recipe. I have a bunch more to come!
Today I’m sharing one that I’m VERY excited about… it has watermelon, Tajin (chili-lime salt), and Lyre's Agave Blanco - Non-Alcoholic Spirit that is an uncanny swap for tequila. You won’t even miss the real thing, I promise. Let’s get into it!
What you need
2 Fl oz Lyre's Agave Blanco Spirit
2 Fl oz watermelon juice
1/2 Fl oz premium agave syrup
1/2 Fl oz lime juice
2 thin slices of jalapeño round
Tajin (for the rim)
Lime wedges
Watermelon slice
Instructions
Step 1: Rim your glass
Using a lime wedge, dampen the rim of your glass and then place it onto a shallow dish of Tajin. Fill the glass with ice.
Step 2: Add to shaker
You can muddle a jalapeno into the shaker if you'd like an additional kick, otherwise, omit. Add liquid ingredients into a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously.
Step 3: Strain into glass
Pour from shaker to glass; you can use block ice if you have!
Step 4: Garnish and enjoy
Garnish with a lime wedge, fresh jalapenos and watermelon slice
And that’s it!
I hope you enjoy it! I have a feeling you’re going to love this one! Let me know if you tried this recipe and if you enjoyed it! I have a few more mocktail recipes that I’m excited to share with you in the coming weeks. Do you have a favorite mocktail? Leave it below.
