If there's one print/pattern that screams summertime, it's gingham! It seems to have withstood the test of time, and I find it to be classic and never out of style. While some of the pieces here today are more seasonal than others, if you love the print, I hope this post serves as some inspiration to incorporate it into your summer wardrobe.
You can fully commit to the vibe with a gingham dress. I recently found this one available up to 5X (wearing XL), and it has pockets! It’s also bra-friendly, which is excellent. I styled it with these braided heels, which are much more comfortable than I thought they would be. I also paired it with these white statement earrings and a straw basket bag.
If you’re looking for a shorter option, this dress is a great option, and this dress was one of my most loved items last summer. I wear XL in both! If skirts are more your speed, this under $30 option comes in a few different colors and could easily be worn with a tee or dressed up with a button-down or blouse. I also love this button-down shirt that could be transitioned nicely into the fall and layered underneath sweaters.
Maybe you’re not ready to fully commit to an entire gingham look; consider adding them to your accessories! You know I love a good headband moment. I own this one and love it! More headband picks and tips are in this previous blog post. These neutral strappy heels add a fun pop to your summer looks. I also love these slip-on knotted block heels. You could also go super subtle with these stud earrings, the perfect little pop of gingham, and would make a great gift too! I’m also eyeing this pink baseball hat that would make a fun addition to a sporty look. If you love to wear a lot of black or solid colors, this gingham bag could be a fun statement piece for your look.
