Evening Beauty Routine
It’s been a while since I’ve shared an update on my evening routine. Whether I have an hour or only a few minutes to get ready for bed, there are a few things that I always do to help me unwind after the day. During most weeknights, I’m happy to start the process a bit earlier, turn the tea kettle on and pour a glass of my favorite bedtime tea. After dinner or within an hour before getting into bed, I’ll take my Ritual Multivitamins and Equilibria CBD. Once I begin my evening “wind down” routine, I try to unplug a bit from work and watch a show, read a book, or sometimes I’ll just scroll TikTok for a dose of humor.

and onto skincare
I take a lot of pride in taking care of my skin! I will melt off the makeup on a dry face with a cleansing balm on full face of makeup days. I go back and forth between Elemis and Colleen Rothschild, both are equally spectacular and smell divine. Using them with a Face Halo, run underneath warm water it gives me a mini spa-like experience each night! It gets rid of even the peskiest mascara. After that, or if I’m not wearing makeup, I’ll use one of First Aid Beauty’s cleaners, I alternate back and forth between the Face Cleanser and Deep Cleanser for when hormonal acne strikes.
Sometimes I’ll use a toner; lately, I’ve been liking the Dynamic Resurfacing Pads. These help lift away dead cells and gently exfoliate, leaving the skin looking significantly smoother and brighter. They also help get rid of no traces of cleanser left. After that, sometimes I’ll add a serum. I cannot get enough of this Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum, it’s super lightweight but gives the skin a nice boost of hydration. I’m constantly switching up my moisturizers, but lately, I’ve been loving FAB’s Collagen Repair Cream or Elemis’ Pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream. I have a combination of oily/dry skin, so I like to use a lot more products at night. When my skin is really dry, I’ll wait until previous products are dry, then apply this Overnight Mask, which has lasted much longer than I thought it would. If I have any acne spots, I’ll use this spot treatment and when I’m really going for it, I try to remember an eye cream! At the very least, I aim to cleanse and moisturize. If I’m able I do that, I call it a win.
At my last dentist’s visit, they recommended that I switch to an electric toothbrush, and I’ve been loving the Brio SmartClean Sonic Electric Toothbrush, it was a bit of a splurge, but it’s super easy to use, comes with a few different brush head options and the battery life is impressive. My entire family has used Opalecense products for years, also recommended by my dentist. We love using their whitening toothpaste, we usually purchase a few tubes at a time.
