Revamp Your Undergarments: A Guide to Refreshing Your Underwear Drawer
LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR…
UNDERWEAR DRAWER
Your underwear drawer may be your most important drawer and yet probably the most neglected; let’s change that! Good undergarments lay the foundation for a great outfit. Is it time to update your top drawer? No shame if so, but today, I’m sharing my favorite underwear drawer essentials in case you need some help on where to start.
When it comes I have always loved Soma’s vanishing-edge underwear. They come in several silhouettes and, when fitted and sized correctly, are truly seamless and don’t move throughout the day! During pregnancy, I found Chantelle’s soft stretch briefs and felt like I was barely wearing anything, they come in two sizes (standard and plus size, I have worn both). Spanx’s seamless briefs have a wider size range from XS to 3X (use CARALYN10). I recently tried these second-skin briefs and was pleasantly surprised at how seamless and comfortable they were, my code should still be active there as well (CARALYN25).
Shapewear should be supportive and smooth but also fit comfortably. I recently shared this blog post on how to know if your shapewear fits. Please remember, no one needs to wear shapewear, but if you like to, I’m happy to share my learnings. Don’t forget to use CARALYN10 at Spanx for 10% off and free shipping. These mid-thigh shorts are great for everyday wear. They have low compression. These shorts are great to wear under dresses when you need support. These shorts provide a high level of support and are great for special event dresses, wedding guest dresses, or bridal dresses. This bodysuit will give a smooth look in any dress and has a built-in shelf bra.
Brassy bra is adhesive to provide lift for a backless or strapless top or dress. Cakes nipple covers are grippy, not sticky for a modest look and feel to conceal highlights. I use them in unlined bras, bathing suits, and whenever I need just a little extra modesty. I recently shared some ways to use fashion tape. These dots have been perfect for my button-down shirts this spring. I learned about garment weights back in my modeling days to keep dresses from flying up with a breeze.
I have loved Megababe products for years, you can also shop it here. They go with me on every vacation, especially the bust dust and thigh rescue stick. I wash my athleisure and undergarments with this detergent to hold the integrity of the garment. I shared why you should wash your bra and what I use to wash them. I also like washing socks and bras in these garment bags.
