Our New Guest Bathroom
This reveal marks the final chapter in our trifecta of bathroom transformations! We started with the powder bath, moved on to the primary bath, and now, we’re wrapping things up with our guest bathroom. Since this bathroom shares the same pipe access as the primary bath, we figured it made sense to tackle both at the same time. While we weren’t able to make any structural changes, we embraced the challenge of working with the space as-is, complete with its unique angles and quirks. It’s been a journey, and we’re thrilled to share the before-and-after results of this final transformation. Let’s dive in!

Before the renovation, this guest bathroom had plenty of charm but was in need of some updates to maximize its potential. The unique angles of the space created both challenges and opportunities, but the dated finishes and layout made the room feel cramped and underutilized. With its classic white tile, silver fixtures, and tight layout, it served its purpose but left much to be desired in terms of style and functionality. It was the perfect candidate for a thoughtful transformation!

The DeTAILS OF DESIGN
We collaborated closely with Michael P. Design of MichaelPDesign.com and Room to create a space that felt both functional and thoughtfully designed. The goal was to maximize the room’s unique angles while adding a sense of spaciousness. For custom cabinetry, we turned to NC Woodwork who crafted tailored storage solutions that fit seamlessly into the design.
The finishes were carefully selected to bring texture and style to the space. The wallpaper, a bold yet elegant choice from Kelly Wearstler, adds a layer of personality. For materials, we chose this stone for the floor, this tile for the shower walls, and this tile for the shower floor. This sink faucet pairs beautifully with this oval mirror, which fits perfectly in this cozy space. To complete the look, we kept with the black hardware theme and added this shower head for a sleek and functional touch.
Every element was selected with intention, blending practicality with design to make this guest bathroom truly shine.

LET’S GET INTO THE DETAILS
DECOR AND INSPIRATION
To style this bathroom, we leaned into a more modern aesthetic, incorporating functional yet chic details that enhance the overall design. A sleek this 3-piece bathroom set perfectly complements the custom vanity, adding cohesion and practicality. For our guests, we stocked a pack of these wooden toothbrushes for a thoughtful touch. To bring a spa-like feel to the space, we added a stylish shower bench, which pairs beautifully with the bamboo floor mat for a natural, calming vibe. The towel rack, paired with these waffle knit towels, adds both texture and comfort. Finally, a thoughtfully chosen wastebasket serves as a subtle accent, tying together the room’s decor and completing the polished, modern look.
This combination of thoughtful decor and inspired design creates a guest bathroom that feels inviting, luxurious, and practical all at once!
