My Evening Routine

I’ve always appreciated a good wind down from the day. It allows me to regroup, wash away the day, and prepare for what I hope to be a good night's sleep. Whether it’s quick or I have a few extra minutes to take my time, I love treating myself (and my skin) to mini spa-like moment. My products change depending on the time of year or what my skin is experiencing (dryness, oiliness, makeup / no makeup), but the ritual remains a constant. Let’s jump into what I’m currently using and loving!

If I am wearing makeup that day, I like to start with this cleansing balm. I’ve tried pretty much all of their offerings and this one is my new favorite scent! You massage it into your skin with your fingertips and wipe it away with warm water and a cloth. I like to use these reusable face halos that act as a towel. Next up is a cleanser! I have been loving this rice wash from Tatcha, using it day and night (CARALYN15 should still work for a discount). I then apply a toner with these cotton rounds. I was skeptical of this snail serum, but it was worth the hype! It’s lightweight and keeps my skin hydrated, better than even some pricier ones I’ve tried. I love to lather this overnight rescue for extra hydration. If you struggle with dry skin, especially in the winter months - it is a MUST try! I’m on my second jar of it. During the daytime, I’ll use this face moisturizer. It’s lightweight and easily worn under makeup. This eye cream is a great overnight treatment to brighten your undereye and while it is a splurge, it has lasted a really long time. I love to use Aquaphor on any parts of my body that need extra therapy and hydration, especially during these colder winter months.

My Bedside essentials

Yes, this Stanley is my emotional support water bottle. It is with me in every room and next to my bed on my nightstand and is there to help with my bedtime prep. I prefer to take my vitamins at night. After birth, I switched over to these postnatal vitamins. I did use Ritual’s prenatal vitamins throughout my pregnancy and multivitamins before TTC/I became pregnant. Post-partum hair loss is no joke. I’ve been taking this Nurtrafol hair growth supplement, and I have seen a ton of new growth. I’ve been consistently taking it for about seven months and really believe that it works. These calm gummies have been a favorite of mine for over a year. They help me relax a bit and help me stay regular. If you’ve been around here for a while, you know I love my pajamas. I recently got this pair and have been loving them. They are lightweight, and the material is buttery, soft, and stretchy. You can see more of my favorite pajamas here. I recently started using this silk pillowcase. It helps with flyaways and keeps my skin soft and smooth.
